Ingredients
- 1 lb (454 g) lean ground beef
- 1 cup (240 ml) diced yellow onions
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) minced garlic
- 5 oz (298 g) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) pepper
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) onion powder
- 4 cup (960 ml) froz en cut green beans
- 2 cup (480 ml) s shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (240 ml) French’s crispy fried onions
Instructions
- Set your oven to 375°F to preheat.
- Place the lean ground beef in a large pan on medium-high heat.
- Introduce the diced yellow onions to the pan, stirring and breaking up the beef as it cooks.
- Once the beef is no longer pink, remove excess fat from the pan.
- Mix in the minced garlic and continue to cook for another 2 minutes.
- Combine the condensed cream of mushroom soup and milk in the pan, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
- Incorporate the Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and onion powder, stirring thoroughly.
- Add the frozen cut green beans to the pan.
- Stir well and allow a few minutes for the green beans to warm up.
- Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish generously with cooking spray.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Distribute the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and cook for 15 minutes.
- Afterward, take the dish out of the oven and sprinkle the crispy fried onions on top.
- Put the dish back into the oven, baking until the onions are slightly browned, about 5 more minutes.
- Once done, take the casserole out of the oven and let it rest briefly.
- Serve the dish and enjoy your meal!
