Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) ground turkey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Crumble ground turkey into the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks until golden-brown, 7 to 10 minutes. Add cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the diced potatoes, cover the skillet, and cook, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
- Gently add frozen peas, mixing in, and cook for another 5 minutes until warmed through.
- If desired, garnish with chopped cilantro before serving. Serve warm in bowls.
