Description

A comforting dish of rolled corn tortillas filled with savory ground beef, topped with cheese and tomato sauce, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté diced onions in a large skillet until translucent.
  3. Add the lean ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in taco seasoning and mix well.
  5. Pour in the tomato sauce and let it simmer on low heat.
  6. Fill each tortilla with the beef mixture and sprinkle cheese inside before rolling tightly.
  7. Place the filled tortillas seam-side down in a baking dish.
  8. Pour any remaining sauce over the tortillas and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  9. Bake for about 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
  10. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
