Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 8 corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sauté diced onions in a large skillet until translucent.
- Add the lean ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in taco seasoning and mix well.
- Pour in the tomato sauce and let it simmer on low heat.
- Fill each tortilla with the beef mixture and sprinkle cheese inside before rolling tightly.
- Place the filled tortillas seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Pour any remaining sauce over the tortillas and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
