Description

A delicious fusion of seasoned beef, gooey cheese, and spicy chipotle sauce wrapped in a warm tortilla, perfect for comfort food cravings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Start by browning the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8–10 minutes. Drain any excess grease. Add the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water, stirring to combine. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the tortillas on a dry skillet or in the microwave until they are warm and flexible.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat and layer it with cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, chipotle sauce, and sour cream. Top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella.
  4. Heat a clean skillet and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese. Place the burrito seam-side down in the skillet. Cook for 3–4 minutes on each side or until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust.

Notes

Use a mix of cheeses for added flavor and consider sautéing vegetables for extra texture. Allowing the assembled burrito to rest before grilling can improve the melting texture.
