Description
A delightful blend of seasoned beef, melted cheese, and zesty sauces wrapped in a warm tortilla, perfect for family gatherings and casual dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- Cook the beef: In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Remove excess grease and stir in the taco seasoning with 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes until well combined.
- Warm the tortillas: Heat the tortillas on a dry skillet or in the microwave, ensuring they soften for easy folding.
- Assemble the burrito: Lay a tortilla flat. Add a layer of cooked rice, followed by seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, chipotle sauce, and sour cream. Finish with shredded cheddar and mozzarella.
- Grill the burrito: Heat a clean skillet and add 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese. Place the burrito seam-side down, cooking until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust. Flip and repeat for the other side.
Notes
Experiment with additional fillings like black beans or corn for more texture. Always ensure tortillas are heated adequately to avoid sogginess.
