Ingredients

  • 1 lb (454 g) boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 cup (240 ml) sweet baby rays barbecue sauce
  • 12 slices beef bacon
  • 1 sliced red onion
  • 2 sliced kosher pickles
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s whole milk
  • 1 cup (240 ml) flour


Instructions

  1. Warm up the deep fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Begin by slicing the chicken breast into six equal portions and flatten them to about half an inch in thickness.
  3. In a bowl, combine the eggs with milk, and place the flour in a separate dish.
  4. Coat the chicken pieces first in the egg-milk blend, then dredge them in flour. Set them aside until the fryer is heated.
  5. Meanwhile, fry the beef bacon in a pan until it reaches a crispy texture, and slice the red onion. Simmer the barbecue sauce in a saucepan until it’s warm.
  6. Fry the chicken in the deep fryer for 4 to 7 minutes until thoroughly cooked, then set aside.
