Description

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds (2.27 kg) boneless beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet (28 g) taco seasoning mix
  • 1 jar (454 g) green salsa
  • 2 cups (480 ml) beef broth, or more if needed


Instructions

  1. Position the beef chuck roast at the base of a slow cooker that has a secure lid.
  2. Dust the beef with the taco seasoning mix.
  3. Drizzle the green salsa on top, then add the beef broth.
  4. Set the slow cooker to Low and let it cook for 4 hours.
  5. Add additional broth if necessary.
  6. Take the beef out of the slow cooker and pull it apart using two forks.
  7. Place the shredded beef back into the slow cooker and combine with the liquid.
