Description

A classic comfort dish featuring green beans, creamy mushroom soup, and crispy fried onions, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of green beans, drained
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of French fried onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and milk until well combined.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and stir in half of the French fried onions.
  7. Top with the remaining French fried onions and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

For a twist, consider adding garlic powder or onion powder to elevate the flavors. Blanch fresh green beans beforehand for better texture.
