A delightful blend of gingerbread flavors with the classic crunch of Rice Krispies, perfect for holiday celebrations.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Start by melting the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Allow it to foam without browning.
- Stir in the mini marshmallows, ensuring they fully melt, creating a smooth consistency.
- Once melted, mix in the ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Remove the pan from heat and immediately add the Rice Krispies. Stir until every cereal piece gets evenly coated.
- Quickly transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch pan. Press it down firmly.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
For easier handling, dampen your hands when pressing the mixture into the pan. Feel free to add chocolate chips or nuts for a twist!
