Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and cut the sweet potatoes into uniform wedges.
- In a large bowl, toss the wedges with olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika until well-coated.
- Spread the seasoned wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through for even cooking.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the hot wedges, and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding cayenne pepper or doubling the garlic. Use a light-colored baking sheet for even cooking.
