Description

A quick and delicious dish that showcases cauliflower, mushrooms, and garlic, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and butter. Allow the butter to melt, combining the flavors beautifully.
  2. Add the cauliflower florets to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes until they become slightly golden. Next, introduce the sliced mushrooms and continue cooking for an additional 4-5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the garlic to become fragrant and aromatic.
  4. Drizzle the skillet dish with lemon juice, sprinkle Parmesan on top (if using), and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat. Use fresh parsley as a garnish for brightness.
