Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 small head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and butter. Allow the butter to melt, combining the flavors beautifully.
- Add the cauliflower florets to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes until they become slightly golden. Next, introduce the sliced mushrooms and continue cooking for an additional 4-5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the garlic to become fragrant and aromatic.
- Drizzle the skillet dish with lemon juice, sprinkle Parmesan on top (if using), and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat. Use fresh parsley as a garnish for brightness.
