Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the steaks with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the steaks for 3 to 4 minutes per side, achieving a medium-rare doneness.
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside.
  5. Lower the heat and add unsalted butter to the skillet.
