Description

Delicious homemade garlic bread rolls that are soft, buttery, and perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk, warmed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add warmed milk, egg, and melted garlic butter, and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough with a dough hook until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a buttered bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into smooth balls.
  7. Place the rolls on a buttered baking pan, cover, and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Brush the rolls with garlic butter and sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.

Notes

For best results, let the rolls rise slowly in a warm environment. Store leftovers in an airtight container or freeze for later enjoyment.
