Description

A delicious and cheesy bread filled with savory ingredients, perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup cooked sausage crumbles
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 egg wash (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangular shape.
  3. Spread marinara sauce generously over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce and arrange pepperoni slices, cooked sausage crumbles, bell peppers, and onions on top.
  5. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the fillings.
  6. Roll the dough tightly to form a log, sealing the seams as you go.
  7. Place the Garbage Bread seam side down on the baking sheet.
  8. Brush the top with egg wash if desired.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize the fillings according to your preferences. Pre-cooking raw vegetables helps prevent excess moisture.
