Description

A creamy and cheesy bake featuring rice, tender chicken, and sweet caramelized onions, perfect for cozy family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and diced
  • 2 large onions, caramelized
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup Gruyère or Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the cooked rice, diced chicken, caramelized onions, heavy cream, chicken broth, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
