Description

A comforting and creamy dish featuring a blend of cheddar, mozzarella, gouda, and parmesan, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of macaroni
  • 4 cups of shredded cheese (mix of cheddar, mozzarella, gouda, and parmesan)
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Start by melting the butter in the slow cooker.
  2. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
  3. Gradually add the milk while stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add the shredded cheeses, macaroni, sour cream, salt, and pepper, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours.
  6. Stir before serving to mix the cheese sauce evenly throughout the macaroni.
