A simple and flavorful recipe for turkey meatballs without breadcrumbs, featuring ground turkey, garlic, and fresh herbs.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- If baking, place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through. If pan-frying, cook meatballs for about 6-8 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- Serve warm with your favorite sauce or side dish.
Notes
Use a cookie scoop for uniform meatball sizes and be careful not to overmix to maintain a tender texture.
