A quick and healthy snack option featuring rolled oats, nut butter, and protein powder, perfect for post-workout or midday cravings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, etc.)
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 scoop protein powder (vegan if desired)
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts or seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and protein powder until well combined.
- If desired, fold in chocolate chips and nuts or seeds.
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture into the dish evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Once set, cut into bars and enjoy as a quick snack!
Notes
Experiment with different nut butters and add spices for enhanced flavor. Store bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
