Description

A simple and flavorful no-knead bread recipe bursting with melted cheese, perfect for family dinners or as a delicious side.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • ¼ teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella preferred)
  • Optional herbs (like rosemary or thyme for extra flavor)


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and mix until combined.
  3. Fold in shredded cheese.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
  5. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat.
  6. Once heated, carefully remove the Dutch oven, place the dough in it, cover it, and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before slicing.

Notes
