A simple and flavorful no-knead bread recipe bursting with melted cheese, perfect for family dinners or as a delicious side.
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- ¼ teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 ½ cups warm water
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella preferred)
- Optional herbs (like rosemary or thyme for extra flavor)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm water and mix until combined.
- Fold in shredded cheese.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat.
- Once heated, carefully remove the Dutch oven, place the dough in it, cover it, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
Experiment with different types of cheese and herbs for unique flavors. Store leftovers in a resealable bag at room temperature for up to three days.
