A simple and satisfying recipe for keto-friendly sourdough bread made with almond and coconut flour.
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup coconut flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup almond flour, 1 cup coconut flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- In another bowl, beat the 4 large eggs and mix in 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring continuously.
- Slowly add 1/2 cup water until you form a dough.
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
Sift flours together to create a lighter texture. Experiment with flavors and seasonings for variety.
