Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups chopped potatoes
- 1 cup chopped red pepper (bite-sized)
- 7 oz ham steak
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 9 oz shredded cheese of your choice
- 6 tortillas of your choice
Instructions
- In a medium-sized skillet, add the olive oil and heat over medium heat.
- Add the chopped potatoes into the skillet and season with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally with a spatula.
- Dice the ham steak into 1/2-inch pieces and add it to the skillet with the potatoes. Mix until they are thoroughly combined.
- Stir in the chopped red peppers, ensuring everything blends well. Cook on medium-low for an additional 5 minutes.
- Assemble your burritos by placing the filling in the center of each tortilla, add the shredded cheese, then roll them up tightly. Wrap each burrito in aluminum foil to keep them warm.
- Store the wrapped burritos in a ziplock bag for freezer or fridge storage.
Notes
Choose tortillas that suit your preferences—flour or corn. Experiment with spices for a customized flavor. Add more cheese for a gooey center!
