Ingredients
- 2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 2 tbsp jarred salsa
- 1 1/4 lb ground beef
- 1 envelope taco seasoning

- 4 to 5 oz shredded cheddar jack cheese
- 1/2 oz bag shredded lettuce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Once fully cooked, drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and follow the package instructions. Mix thoroughly.
- In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa until smooth.
- Roll out the crescent dough on a prepared baking sheet, creating one single crust.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Layer the taco meat on top of the cream cheese.
- Scatter the diced tomatoes and shredded cheese over the meat.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before garnishing with shredded lettuce.
Notes
For a spicier kick, use spicy salsa and add jalapeños as extra toppings. To prevent sogginess, consider chilling the meat before layering.
