Description

A delightful taco pizza made with refrigerated crescent rolls, seasoned beef, and creamy toppings, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp jarred salsa
  • 1 1/4 lb ground beef
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
  • 3 to 4 diced roma tomatoes
  • 4 to 5 oz shredded cheddar jack cheese
  • 1/2 oz bag shredded lettuce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Once fully cooked, drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and follow the package instructions. Mix thoroughly.
  4. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa until smooth.
  5. Roll out the crescent dough on a prepared baking sheet, creating one single crust.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. Layer the taco meat on top of the cream cheese.
  8. Scatter the diced tomatoes and shredded cheese over the meat.
  9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
  10. Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before garnishing with shredded lettuce.

Notes

For a spicier kick, use spicy salsa and add jalapeños as extra toppings. To prevent sogginess, consider chilling the meat before layering.
