A simple and quick recipe for moist banana bread using a box of cake mix and ripe bananas.
Ingredients
- 3 very ripe large bananas
- 2 large eggs
- 1 (13.25oz) box yellow cake mix
- Chocolate chips or nuts for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease two bread loaf pans.
- Mash the bananas with a fork in a medium or large bowl.
- Mix with the eggs until well combined.
- Fold in the dry cake mix gently.
- Divide the batter evenly between both bread pans and optionally sprinkle chocolate chips or chopped nuts on top.
- Bake in the center rack of the oven for 25-35 minutes.
Notes
For added texture and flavor, consider swirling in peanut butter or Nutella before baking.
