A delicious and versatile breakfast quiche filled with eggs, cheese, and your choice of veggies and meats, perfect for any morning.
Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or another type)
- 1 cup chopped vegetables (spinach, bell peppers, onions, etc.)
- 1 cup cooked meats (bacon, ham, sausage, etc.)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional herbs (e.g. thyme, parsley)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and poke the bottom with a fork.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Layer the chosen fillings (cheese, vegetables, and meats) in the pie crust.
- Pour the egg mixture over the fillings evenly.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
- Let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Experiment with different cheeses and vegetables to customize your quiche. For a crispy crust, consider blind-baking the crust for a few minutes before adding the filling.
