Description

A quick and indulgent baked mac and cheese recipe that combines creamy cheese sauce with tender macaroni for a nostalgic comfort dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Slowly whisk in the milk and continue cooking until the mixture thickens.
