Description

Indulge in the ultimate burger experience with our Double Decker Jalapeño Poppers Smash Burger recipe, topped with a savory ranch drizzle. Learn how to make it now!

Ingredients

  • 454 g ground beef
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns, toasted
  • 4 jalapeños, sliced and deseeded (optional for less heat)
  • 4 oz (113 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 60 g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 60 ml cooked and crumbled beef bacon
  • 60 ml ranch dressing
  • Vegetable oil for cooking
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles (optional toppings)

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, mozzarella, bacon pieces, and jalapeño slices in a mixing bowl to create the popper filling.
  2. Portion the ground beef into 8 equal parts and gently shape them into round balls.
  3. Warm a griddle or large pan over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
  4. Place two beef balls onto the hot surface and press them down flat with a spatula. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Allow them to cook for about 2-3 minutes until the edges become crispy, then turn them over.
  6. Place a cheddar cheese slice on each patty right after flipping and let it cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is gooey.
  7. Generously spread the jalapeño popper filling on the bottom half of a toasted bun.
  8. Layer two cheesy beef patties on top of the filling, followed by optional toppings such as lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
  9. Pour some ranch dressing over the top patty, then place the other half of the bun to finish the burger.
  10. Repeat the process for the rest of the burgers and serve them immediately.

Notes

  • Enhance the spiciness by leaving the jalapeño seeds in the popper filling.
  • Season each beef patty generously with salt and pepper before cooking.
  • Personalize your burger with toppings like lettuce, tomato, and pickles for added freshness.
