Description

A refreshing and creamy vanilla bean frappe perfect for summer days.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk or sweet cream
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener of choice (sugar, honey, or agave)
  • 2 cups ice


Instructions

  1. Cut the vanilla bean in half and scrape the seeds into a blender.
  2. Add milk and sweetener into the blender along with the ice.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste for sweetness, adjusting with more sweetener if necessary.
  5. Pour into large glasses, garnishing with any remaining vanilla pods or a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.

Notes

For a frothier texture, blend for longer or add an extra scoop of ice. Use chilled milk or cream for an extra refreshing drink.
