Description

Delightful deviled strawberries filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 18-24 large strawberries
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (8-ounce) package of softened cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the strawberries, then trim off the stems and slice each in half lengthwise.
  2. If needed, cut a sliver at the back of each half to make them sit upright.
  3. Use a melon baller to hollow out the center of each strawberry half.
  4. Beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form (about 5 minutes with an electric mixer).
  5. In another bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice, and beat until smooth.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well blended.
  7. Fill a piping bag fitted with a star tip and generously pipe the cream cheese mixture into each strawberry half.
  8. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top for added texture and visual appeal.

Notes

Chill the filled strawberries for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance flavor and maintain shape. Experiment with flavors by adding almond extract or cocoa powder.
