Ingredients
- 12 moz zarella sticks
- 12 slices of beef bacon
- 1 cup (240 ml) all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup (240 ml) breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s Sriracha sauce
Instructions
- Start by enveloping each mozzarella stick fully with a strip of bacon, ensuring complete coverage. Use toothpicks to secure if needed.
- Organize the flour, whisked eggs, and breadcrumbs in three distinct bowls.
- Dredge each mozzarella stick wrapped in bacon in the flour, then submerge in the beaten eggs, and finally cover with breadcrumbs.
- Warm up vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to a temperature of 350°F.
- Cook the bacon-wrapped mozzarella sticks in the hot oil, a few at a time, for around 2-3 minutes until they achieve a golden brown and crispy texture.
- Take them out of the oil and allow them to drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper while they are still warm.
- Combine mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce in a small bowl to make the dipping sauce.
