Description

A delightful and easy croissant bake, combining flaky croissants with savory deli meats, cheeses, and a creamy egg mixture for a perfect breakfast dish.


Ingredients

  • 6-8 croissants, cut into thirds
  • 10-12 slices of deli meat (ham, turkey, salami, or prosciutto)
  • 3-4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary
  • 8-10 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 tbsp fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut croissants into thirds and prepare a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream or milk, salt, garlic salt, pepper, and fresh rosemary.
  4. Dunk croissant pieces in the mixture until well coated.
  5. Layer the soaked croissants in the baking dish, adding layers of deli meat and cheese between them.
  6. Mix melted butter, honey, and remaining herbs, and drizzle over the assembled dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Let sit for a few minutes before serving.
