Description

A comforting crockpot round steak recipe that brings warmth and satisfaction to any gathering. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends.


Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds round steak
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 medium carrots, sliced
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs such as rosemary or thyme (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season the round steak with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, sear the steak on both sides until browned.
  3. Layer chopped onion, garlic, carrots, and potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Place the browned steak on top of the vegetables.
  5. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the meat and vegetables.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the meat is tender and fully cooked.
