Description

A simple and hearty dish featuring smoked sausage, green beans, and potatoes, perfect for busy weeknight dinners or gathering with friends.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)


Instructions

  1. Place the sliced kielbasa at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add the trimmed green beans, halved baby potatoes, diced onion, and minced garlic on top.
  3. Pour the chicken broth over the ingredients.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika if using.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the potatoes and green beans are tender.

Notes

Consider sautéing the garlic and onion before adding to enhance their flavor. Fresh vegetables yield the best taste.
