Description

A hearty and tender crockpot brisket infused with savory beef broth and BBQ sauce, perfect for casual gatherings and weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lbs brisket
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Buns for serving (optional)
  • Mashed potatoes for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the brisket with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Put the brisket on top of the onions and garlic.
  4. Pour the beef broth and BBQ sauce over the brisket.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the brisket is tender.
  6. Remove the brisket, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice.
  7. Serve on buns or with mashed potatoes.

Notes

For best results, opt for a well-marbled brisket. Let the brisket rest for 10-15 minutes after cooking for more flavorful slices.
