Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional for brightness)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the green beans under cold water, then trim the stem ends. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the green beans, olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss until coated.
  4. Spread the green beans in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 15-20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
