Deliciously crispy deep-fried vegan cauliflower nuggets that offer a plant-based alternative for snacks or appetizers.
Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the flour mixture, then into the plant-based milk, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the nuggets in batches until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve with your favorite sauce.
Notes
For a healthier option, consider baking the nuggets at 425°F (220°C) instead of frying.
