Description

Deliciously crispy deep-fried vegan cauliflower nuggets that offer a plant-based alternative for snacks or appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dip each cauliflower floret into the flour mixture, then into the plant-based milk, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry the nuggets in batches until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve with your favorite sauce.

Notes

For a healthier option, consider baking the nuggets at 425°F (220°C) instead of frying.
