Discover how to make Crispy Chicken Bacon Cheese Stuffed Wonton Bombs with our easy recipe! Unleash flavors and impress your guests with this irresistible appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (454 g) ground chicken
  • 6 slices beef bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup (240 ml) shredded moz zarella cheese
  • 5 cup (120 ml) cream cheese softened
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) garlic powder
  • 5 tsp (3 ml) onion powder
  • 5 tsp (3 ml) salt
  • 25 tsp (1 ml) black pepper
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying vegetable, canola, or peanut oil
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional )

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Mixture In a large bowl, combine the minced chicken, crumbled beef bacon, mozzarella cheese, and softened cream cheese. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until all components are well blended and evenly mixed.
  2. Step 2: Assemble the Wontons Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture into the center. Wet the edges with water using your finger. Bring the four corners of the wrapper together over the filling and pinch them tightly. Seal all the edges to form a secure parcel. Repeat with the remaining mixture and wrappers.
  3. Step 3: Warm the Oil Fill a deep pan, Dutch oven, or deep fryer with 2-3 inches of oil suitable for frying. Heat the oil on medium until it reaches around 350°F (175°C). If you’re without a thermometer, drop a small piece of wonton wrapper in the oil; it should sizzle gently right away.
  4. Step 4: Cook the Wontons Gently place a few of the prepared parcels into the heated oil, ensuring not to add too many at once. Fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side until they achieve a rich golden brown color and a crispy texture. Confirm that the chicken inside is thoroughly cooked by checking the firmness.
  5. Step 5: Remove and Add Finishing Touches Use a slotted spoon or spider strainer to remove the fried wontons from the oil. Place them on a paper towel-lined plate to soak up any excess oil. Optionally, sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving while they’re still hot and crispy.

Notes

  • Ensure cream cheese is soft for a smooth chicken mixnSeal wontons tightly to avoid leaks when fryingnCool beef bacon slightly to retain crunch and enhance texture
