Description

Deliciously crispy baked cauliflower bites, perfect for snacking or as a healthy alternative to fried snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 Large Head of Cauliflower
  • 1 Cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • ½ Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • (Optional) ¼ Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Large Egg
  • ¼ Cup Milk or Buttermilk
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Rinse the cauliflower under cold water, remove outer leaves, trim the core, and cut into uniform florets.
  3. In the first bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  4. In the second bowl, whisk together the egg and milk until frothy.
  5. Dip each cauliflower floret into the wet mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with the dry mixture.
  6. Place the breaded florets on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
