Ingredients

  • Beef breast, 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams)
  • Vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters)
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
  • Black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams)
  • Garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams)
  • Onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams)
  • Paprika, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams)
  • Flour tortillas, 8 medium size
  • Creamy salad dressing, 1/2 cup (120 ml) (120 milliliters)
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded, 2 cups (480 ml) (200 grams)
  • Cooked turkey bacon, 8 slices
  • Green onions, chopped, 1/4 cup (60 ml) (25 grams)
  • Butter, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (28 grams)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the chicken breast into small, bite-sized pieces.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add chicken pieces to the skillet.
  5. Season chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  6. Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  7. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  8. Place a flour tortilla on a flat surface.
  9. Spread 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing over the tortilla.
  10. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the ranch.
  11. Add a few pieces of cooked chicken on top of the cheese.
  12. Place one slice of cooked turkey bacon over the chicken.
  13. Sprinkle some chopped green onions over the bacon.
  14. Fold the tortilla into a square, enclosing the filling.
  15. Repeat the process with remaining tortillas and filling ingredients.
  16. Melt butter in a clean skillet over medium heat.
  17. Place the folded quesadillas in the skillet seam side down.
  18. Cook each side for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
  19. Transfer cooked quesadillas to a baking sheet.
  20. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes.
