Description

Delightful cranberry turkey stuffing balls that perfectly blend savory and sweet flavors, making them a holiday staple.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 cups bread (sourdough or multigrain), toasted and cubed
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg (optional, for binding)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cook ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked turkey, toasted bread, cranberries, onion, celery, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
  4. If the mixture is too dry, add an egg or a splash of broth to bind.
  5. Form small balls from the mixture and place them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between each.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown, turning the tray halfway through cooking.

Notes

Let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before forming the balls for enhanced flavor. Serve with a simple gravy or dip.
