Ingredients
- 1 lb turkey, freshly ground or finely chopped
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp sage, fresh or dried
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onions and celery until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables with turkey, bread crumbs, cranberries, beaten eggs, sage, salt, and pepper, mixing until well incorporated.
- Gradually add chicken broth until the mixture is moist but not soggy.
- Shape the mixture into balls about the size of a golf ball and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
