Description

A festive turkey breast glazed with a delightful cranberry and orange sauce, perfect for Thanksgiving gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 to 2 pounds fresh or thawed turkey breast
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine cranberry juice, orange juice, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let reduce for 10-15 minutes.
  4. In a roasting pan, season the turkey breast with salt and pepper.
  5. Brush half of the glaze over the turkey.
  6. Roast the turkey for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the remaining glaze.
  7. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. Let the turkey rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

If glaze is too thick, add water to reach desired consistency. Consider adding fresh herbs for extra flavor.
