Sweet and tangy cranberry cream cheese crescent bites, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 can of crescent roll dough (8-count)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- Optional: chopped pecans or orange zest for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Prepare a mini muffin tin by greasing or lining it.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half.
- Press the pieces into the muffin cups to form a base.
- Spoon in about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling followed by 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
- If desired, sprinkle with chopped pecans or orange zest for added flavor.
- Bake the bites for 11–13 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra creaminess, mix in a dash of lemon juice with the cream cheese filling. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
