Delicious bites filled with creamy cheese and tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for brunch or dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- Chopped pecans or orange zest (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease or line a mini muffin tin.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half.
- Press the dough pieces into the muffin cups to create little cups for the filling.
- Spoon in 1 teaspoon of cream cheese filling into each dough cup, followed by 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
- Top with chopped pecans or orange zest if desired.
- Bake for 11–13 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For best results, let the cream cheese soften before mixing and consider pre-chilling the dough for easier handling.
