Description

Delicious bites of buttery puff pastry filled with rich Brie and sweet cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 oz. Brie cheese
  • 4 tablespoons cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F and prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry and brush with egg wash.
  3. Divide the pastry into 40 small rectangles and stack them to create about 20 ‘doubled up’ rectangles.
  4. Place the layered rectangles on the baking tray, ensuring space between them.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Slice the Brie and top each puff with a piece.
  7. Return to the oven for 1–2 minutes until cheese melts.
  8. Top with a dollop of cranberry sauce and fresh herbs if desired.
  9. Serve warm on a presentation plate.

Notes

For added flavor, infuse cranberry sauce with orange zest or warm spices. Ensure pastry is cool for best puffing.
