Description

A delicious and hearty breakfast casserole featuring crispy bacon, eggs, cheese, and hash browns, perfect for busy mornings and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 strips of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups hash browns (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or herbs for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a frying pan, cook the bacon until crispy, then chop it into pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Beat well.
  4. Layer the hash browns in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the cooked bacon and shredded cheese over the hash browns.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the top of the casserole.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly, garnish with green onions if desired, and serve warm.
