Description

Crispy egg rolls filled with creamy crab and cheese, bringing the classic restaurant appetizer to your home kitchen.

Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers
  • Crab meat
  • Cream cheese
  • Green onions, chopped
  • Garlic powder
  • Soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Lay a wonton wrapper on a flat surface and place a small spoonful of the filling in the center.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over the filling, and seal the edges to form an egg roll.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

For an alternate preparation, consider baking at 400°F (200°C) for a healthier option.
