Delicious bites featuring a creamy filling of crab meat and cheese wrapped in flaky crescent dough, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)
- 1 cup cooked crab meat (lump or flaked)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tablespoons green onion (finely chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the crab meat, softened cream cheese, green onion, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to make smaller triangles.
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the crab mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and roll up toward the point.
- Place the bites seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Optional: Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Consider adding lemon zest or experiment with other seasonings for a unique flavor. Chill the assembled bites for about 30 minutes before baking for easier handling.
