Ingredients
- Three 5 oz. cans of white albacore tuna, drained well
- 1/3-1/2 cup of cottage cheese
- 1 stalk of celery, minced
- 3 tablespoons of red onion, minced
- 2-3 tablespoons of dill or sweet pickles, minced
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1 clove of garlic, finely minced
- 2 tablespoons of fresh chives, parsley, or dill
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt (or more to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (or more to taste)
- Optional hot sauce, to taste
Instructions
- Blend the cottage cheese until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency.
- Combine the drained tuna, cottage cheese, minced celery, red onion, pickles, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice in a medium bowl.
- Add the finely minced garlic, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Incorporate hot sauce if desired for extra kick.
- Mix everything thoroughly until well-blended.
