Delightful cottage cheese garlic naan made without yeast, offering a high-protein, easy-to-make bread perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon butter (for brushing)
- Chopped parsley or cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Blend cottage cheese and eggs in a blender or food processor until smooth.
- In a large bowl, stir together all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Pour the cottage cheese mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until a sticky dough forms.
- Mix the minced garlic into the dough.
- Shape the dough into small balls about the size of a golf ball.
- Flatten each ball into an oval shape about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a non-stick or cast iron pan over medium heat and brush it lightly with butter.
- Cook each naan for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and puffy.
- Brush warm naan with more melted butter and sprinkle with parsley or cilantro if desired.
