Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the egg whites from the yolks. In a bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, combine the egg yolks, cottage cheese, salt, and any optional spices if using. Mix until smooth.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the cottage cheese mixture until just combined.
- Scoop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, making small rounds.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until they are golden and puffed.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use room temperature eggs for better whip. Consider variations like herbs for added flavor.
